Eximius Sports is pleased to announce the newest additions to our organization on March 7, 2010. We have been going through countless interviews and applications for these divisions; we thank you for your time and your patience in the matter. We are bringing on a new Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, Counter-Strike Source professional and Counter-Strike Source Amateur division.
The first chosen team is the COD4 team, this is a team that did not have a name and they pieced their lineup together recently. Joe DeMarco, being the leader on the team came to Brad because he had worked with Brad in the past in Call of Duty 2. Joe was on the team right before the Eximius Sports squad won the qualifying tournament to earn the #1 seed at the World Series of Video Games in Dallas in 2006. Brad was eager to get this group on board because of the great talent they have individually. They will be playing in the CEVO March Madness Tournament.

The second group that is being added on had to beat not only all the teams they are playing this season in ESEA Open, but also a long list of teams that applied for the sponsorship. The list was finalized at 56 applications and 43 interviews were done by owner Brad Dick. This squad has much experience and they are a team that is becoming a dangerous threat to even invite squads. They are currently in the semi-finals of the ESEA Open playoffs and have a good chance of placing high. We welcome team Focal Point also known as “Genesis.”

Adam Kelly comments about joining Eximius Sports,

Brad Dick comments on this team,
”I was impressed with their application and resume. This team has very little professional experience, the most they have had is a CEVO P placement spot. This is a good start for an amateur team to shine. They have already proven themselves that they are a top contending team, I am just hoping with the name Eximius behind them it can take them over that small hump they have been trying to get over. To all the teams who applied, I promised you an amateur team, I was not lying about that. I appreciate all of your interest and hopefully I will get the chance to be working with you again.”
The last division is the professional Counter-Strike Source division. This team has been rolling over everyone throughout most of the ESEA-IM season; we would like to welcome Team Blindside to Eximius Sports! They will be playing in the finals for ESEA-IM and hopefully will get a bid to ESEA-I next season. They have a heavy desire to go to the ESEA-I Playoff LAN in Dallas!

Eximius Sports [USA], The Last Resort [UK], and Team Coolermaster [UK] would like to officially announce that they will be playing in an event that is called, “The Shot Heard Round the World.” This event is organized where The United States goes head to head with the Great Britain in many different games.
Eximius Sports and The Last Resort will be playing on August 7th and 8th. The game they will be playing in is Counter-Strike Source. Both organizations have brought many prizes to the table for both days. You will have the opportunity to win these prizes on both of the organizations websites and the sponsor’s websites.
Eximius Sports will be playing Team Coolermaster in a multiple of games. The games so far scheduled are Counter-Strike Source, Call of Duty 4, & possibly even Team Fortress 2. You will most likely see Eximius Sports with both of those games under their organization by this event
Team Coolermaster currently having the number one Call of Duty 4 team in the world and a top 10 world ranked Counter-Strike Source team should give Eximius Sports teams quite a run for their money. The good thing is both teams will be giving away prizes for their fans on their websites.
Owner Brad Dick from Eximius Sports says,
We are very excited about these matches that we have scheduled in the month of August with Team Coolermaster and The Last Resort. Both teams are much respected in their games and it is a privilege to play them in such a great event. The idea of UK vs. USA is intriguing to everyone! I just hope we can represent the United States the way that the United States should be represented. We want to give back the North American gaming community. We feel you guys do not get enough back for the hard work and dedication you put in.”
Owner Mike Robinson from The Last Resort says,
“It’s always great to play top teams around the world but due to ping issues UK teams never really get the chance to play American top teams so for us this is a great challenge to prove ourselves against the yanks and there is no better place to hold this match than the i-series even if the USA team Eximius are playing online the I-series event holders have open the ports for this match so pings should be great for both sides I’m sure it will be a great show for the spec's attending and wish both teams the best of luck and can only hope my beloved TLR get the victory.”

The tournament will be a 1v1 format, single elimination. This will be an aim_map tournament. The format is a 32 man bracket and the cost of entry is $25. However due to international gambling laws the tournament is exclusively to the country of Canada; Toronto servers are preferred for play.
The listing of rules and the first come first serve entry will be open on August 17, 2009. Most of the CEVO rules will apply, with the exception of the use of a CMN client. Their will be a cash prize for 1st 2nd and 3rd place
